it's still winter

So I think we were tricked a little. It always seems to happen in Chicago. We get the snow and the cold, then we get a break, a small glimspe of spring and we think winter is over. But, no, remember it is January. March, maybe we could be hopeful. Before we complain and grudgeling put our boots and parkas on, rememeber that the good weather is even that much more wonderful when you experience the "bad" (although I like winter). It is the perfect analogy for life. How do you you know what you have unless you experience loss, or at least the threat of it. Sunny days seem so much brighter after the clouds.

So don't feel too discouraged that the sun has been gone for the longest stretch in 11 years. When it comes out though, savor it. Enjoy it. Feel the warmth on your face and look forward to spring...while living in winter.

This is the new playlist for this week. Sunday night is the Grammy awards so I chose songs that are nominated for an award. And yes, they were all nominated.
